Invisible tech, visible results: Our highlights of 2025

Ocenění pro Monet

Our work is often invisible. It is hidden within systems that you likely use every day without even realizing it.

Whether you are paying by card on public transport, logging into your mobile banking, or tapping your badge at the office, there is a high probability you are using technology developed in our software house. Behind it all are hundreds of hours of work by our top experts. That is why we are always pleased when someone notices our “invisible” efforts.

Here is a selection of the awards we received in 2025:

1. Digitalization of the Czech Republic: driver’s licenses in pickup boxes

Our solution succeeded in the Egovernment The Best 2025 awards. The project with the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic focused on delivering driver’s licenses to automated pickup boxes.

As a technological partner of the State Printing Works of Securities, we played a significant role by providing the integration software and modifying the production systems.

Thanks to this cooperation, you have been able to have your license delivered to one of more than 10,000 pickup points since July 2025. This required a secure and robust connection to logistics networks.

2. Influencer of the Year is from Monet+

The world of digital payments has its influencers too, and one of them is Kamil Hanáček, the director of our Electronic Payments Division. He received the MPE Influencer of the Year 2025 award at the Merchant Payments Ecosystem conference in Berlin.

This recognition is primarily for our Switchio platform, which gives companies the freedom to build their own payment ecosystems.

“This recognition would not be possible without the trust and support of the people at Monet+. At Switchio, we focus on building technologies that give companies true freedom to shape their own payment ecosystems, keep transactions secure, and grow with confidence.”

3. Our USB Hardware Token awarded in Warsaw

We received the Digital SME Tech Solution Award for our USB Hardware Token. It is designed for users who cannot or do not wish to authorize banking transactions using a mobile phone – for example, in environments where mobile devices are prohibited.

Our solution once again proves that user-friendliness can go hand in hand with the highest security standards and compliance with European regulations (PSD3 and PSR).

4. Verified by customers: ProID scores in the global G2 rankings

We are also celebrating success in the global software report G2, where our ProID solution regularly receives top honors in the Multi-Factor Authentication category for the Europe and EMEA regions.

What does this mean?

The reviews on G2 speak clearly: passwordless access and biometrics have definitively ended the era of complicated logins, while our cards elegantly bridge digital security with the physical world of attendance and building access.

It is precisely the combination of high reliability and intuitive control that makes ProID a solution that employees enjoy using rather than trying to bypass.

Today, our biometric and passwordless access methods are used by over 200 customers and 170,000 employees.

5. We are Czech company of the Year 2025

Last but certainly not least is our absolute victory in the Volkswagen Company of the Year 2025 competition. The expert jury primarily highlighted our strong team of 300 experts and our long-term expertise in applied cryptography.

“We must anticipate where technology is headed so that we remain at the forefront and continue to grow together with our customers through a job well done.”

Jan Vavrys, CEO of Monet+

It is a fantastic start to the new projects and collaborations awaiting us this year.
