A strong team, long-term know-how, and innovations for many widely used solutions. With this statement from the expert jury, we accepted the main prize in the national round of the prestigious Company of the Year 2025 competition at Prague’s Žofín Palace on December 11, 2025.
“Our products contribute to the safety and comfort of everyday life. Quietly and inconspicuously, yet they stand on robust and precisely built solutions. I perceive the title as confirmation that they hold irreplaceable importance for users. And also, that I work with great colleagues. This award reflects the quality of their daily work,” says Monet+ CEO Jan Vavrys. Specific examples of Monet+ product solutions for digital identity and payments in state institutions, the financial sphere, critical infrastructure, healthcare facilities, and private companies are certainly no longer negligible.
Currently, this involves support for 5.5 million banking identities in the Czech Republic, the processing of more than 1.8 billion transactions annually, and the authorization of payments worth more than 100 billion EUR per year. Thanks to solutions from Monet+, payments from more than a quarter of a million different terminals are processed worldwide. The company also significantly participates in digitalization within the public administration sector – over 31 million electronic documents have already been issued in the Czech Republic using our technologies. Over 180,000 employees use products from the independent ProID line to protect their digital identity at work. The list of activities does not end there. Under our own Switchio brand, we enable open-loop payments for electric vehicle charging and even the purchase of tickets via payment card directly in public transport. Through the eSign service, we ensure the highest level of electronic signature according to the European eIDAS regulation.
“I value the title especially because it is not a paid PR activity; one must defend their qualities in competition with other great companies. It is a pleasant moment to stop and take a breath with a good feeling from a nice result,” says Jan. However, in a dynamically evolving industry such as the digital world undoubtedly is, there is no room for a longer pause. “We must anticipate where technology will evolve so that we continue to stand at the forefront and, after a job well done, grow together with our customers,” he adds. In addition to further development, we will currently focus on expanding the distribution network of product lines not only in the Czech Republic but especially abroad, where some of our solutions are already active in more than 50 countries today.
The Company of the Year award is not the only one Monet+ received this autumn. At the end of November, the Ministry of Transport’s project “Delivery of Driving Licenses to Pickup Boxes,” in which we significantly participated, scored in the Egovernment The Best 2025 competition. We brought home another award, the Digital SME Tech Solution Award, from the CEE25 SME Banking Conference in Warsaw for our alternative SCA method – the USB Hardware Token.
